  1. As posted earlier: Sabaton organised it’s international press release of their new album (‘The War to end all Wars’, about the First World War) at the Royal Military Museum in Cinquantenaire Park, in Brussels.

One of several photo sessions that took place during the weekend was held in our halls dedicated to the First World War.

The band was very happy to pose with our original Mark IV-tank (named ‘Lodestar III’), one of only 7 such tanks remaining in the world (and ours is the only one still painted in the original colours!).

The Mark IV, a British heavy tank, first saw battle in the summer of 1917. It’s purpose was to break open the trench warfare that got both sides (literally) stuck in the mud.
