Helsinki, Finland – The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has included a group of works by the famous Finnish architect Alvar Aalto on the World Heritage List,
in recognition of their architectural and cultural value and their
prominent role in the development of modern architecture during the twentieth century.
