Tbh, I’m just wishing for a lockdown so we can forget these half-ass measures.
I think people last year were unhappy that on Christmas we were only allowed 1 contact outside of our household. However, if we look at January waves in surrounding countries that were more lax, I think it’s fair to say that measure was warranted.
I hope we can avoid a similar thing this year, but I’m afraid it’s a little late for that. Unless harsh measures are being announced very soon, but I doubt they will want to impose too many restrictions. Bleh.

One colleague just gave my boss and I a whole explanation as why she’s not vaccinated, because it’s actually not a vaccine but more an unlawful genetic experimentation from Bigpharma. Which led me to two conclusions:
– we’ll never see the end of this shit
– fuck you, Séverine. Big time.

Oh boy it’s coming, can already see it from a mile away but you know what it doesn’t bother me. A persons freedoms extent to the extent where they infringes on another persons rights. To live in a organised society we give up certain freedoms to gain rights after all and therefore we consider rights more important than freedoms. Like the right to life vs the freedom of movement. Anyway.
If they implement another curfew I’ll riot

My father’s very important surgery has been moved indefinitely. From the bottom of my heart, fuck you . Fuck all you anti vaxxer. I hope you all die horribly in a hospital bed you so deserve, with your saliva and snot filled lungs. Having to be turned over every 15 minutes. I hope you lay there very long, gasping for every breath of air. Fully concience. Struggling, slowly suffocating with no smell or taste. Only with the feeling of your cells screaming and burning for air.
I have most sympathy for people who are fully vaccinated but still fall ill. But people who make the choice of not taking it should not demand or be given a bed.
And don’t get me started on the politicians and there hidden agenda making corona just a political game.
Stop fucking half assing this shit. Should have made the vaccine mandatory from the start.

I just got the text message that I am positive
5 teachers at my kids’ school are positive
Friends all around know people who are positive. It sounds like it’s much worse than all previous waves.
Can we all please stop panicking? This is getting annoying.
To me there is only one thing that is most important right now and a good indicator of the severity of the pandemic at any moment: does it impact healthcare severely, does it impact other people’s lives ( outside of corona ) and it sure does.
Essential surgeries are yet again postponed, resulting in the dead of people.
Gp’s are overwhelmed so getting regular health care is in danger.
There is a surge in late discovered cancers.

High of low to some but the truth is they are having an impact on the health of people and the standard of care we are used to and deserve. So I hope some strict measures will be implemented because i really want this ship to turn and people needing life saving surgery to get them. This makes me so pissed and I really empathize with all the people dealing with that.
How do we even know the current measurements arent suficient if they are not even a week old ? Corona symptoms are only visible after 5-6 days , sometimes even 14.
The ones from this week are still from before the measures.
Thats the same as me heating my house , not getting warm withing 10 seconds and deciding to heat it even more.
