Just when you thought anything couldn’t possibly get worse … it just did.
Seriously, is the entire organisation headed up by just sheer fucking cunts?
>At least 170 branch managers have been told that they may not be repaid money wrongly deducted from their wages […] because they were unaware of the scheme, which was launched for just three months during the 2020 lockdown.
“It was on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the Leopard’.”
When will the guilty fuckers (senior management) who were complicit in putting these poor folk away be up before the courts themselves?
Oh I forget… it’s the UK…. lessons will be learned.
Jesus.
“Haven’t got the resources”? Fuck you and the vultures who probably do/did have the resources but squirrelled it away so you can socialise the ‘losses’.
This whole thing has been wrong from the start. They were called thieves &liars by the very people who knew the computer system was faulty, they knew.Despite knowing & fixing it THEY chose to penalize the workers. The management is guilty of fraud on a massive scale.
Funny how there are strict time limits on things like this, but the DWP can chase claimants for 20p overpaid in the 1980s.
