“Expel our diplomats will you? We’ll show you! We’ll…*checks notes*…withdraw our diplomats!”
Article is in Bulgarian, but the Russian ambassador Mitrofanova gave the Bulgarian government a deadline of tomorrow at 11:00 CET to rescind their decision to expel 70 diplomats or she’ll request that Russia severs all diplomatic ties with Bulgaria.

The Bulgarian PM responded that Russia remains with 43 diplomats, a lot more than Bulgaria’s 12 currently operating in Russia.

This comes in after Russia labeled Bulgaria an “unfriendly country” and after Bulgaria had its gas deliveries from Russia cut off completely.
At the same time the current Bulgarian government just fell in a vote of no confidence and elections are expected in September.
>typically a precursor to war
In this case, a war with NATO. Would be suicide for Russia.
Well if they really want to add, what, 800 million enemy combatants?
Europe should not only severe diplomatic relations with Russia but also ban Russian culture and anything related to Russia. Like what Ukraine did.
The Russian Empire once again in disbelief that Bulgaria is not its vassal territory.
Putin’s special operation has finally created the opportunity for Bulgarian emancipation from corrupt Russian influence and exposed all of the Russian agents in high places to our allies including the president and major political parties that cosplayed as euro-atlantic and received unconditional Western support because of it despite being mafia stooges with the argument “OR ELSE THE RUSSOPHILE COMMIES”.
We couldn’t have done it without him.
Oh no!
Anyway…
oh noooooo
Give me a sec please-

…

Yep, i just checked my source, and i have bad news for his holiness Vladimir, Bulgaria is still a NATO member, so no “special military operation” for Russia.
Clickbait title. How would Russia attack Bulgaria? Go through Ukraine and Romania? Naval invasion at Balchik? With what navy? Aerial invasion? Doubt they have anymore paratroopers, after the debacle in Ukraine.
That’s not even considering Bulgaria’s NATO membership.
