Stonehenge summer solstice: Thousands welcome back celebrations

  1. The irony is that the people who originally built it only used it to celebrate the winter solstice. They didn’t give a toss about the summer solstice, but making sure the sun came back in winter was important.

  2. Tim travelled to the site from London with his daughter Tameya and son Tim.

    “My name is… Tim?”

“Hail to thee, Tim, son of Tim! Now, let us pass!”
