Hi guys , so now that the tories have decided to break international law by tearing up the Northern Ireland Protocol and put the Good Friday Agreement in jeapordy to appease the dup is it time we started boycotting goods and services coming from rabid brexiteer clowns such as that dyson fella who makes the hoovers?

  1. Why would anyone even pay that much for a hoover? And why would you boycott the company if you can afford them?

  2. Ah sure that fella’s just full of hot air, a real suck-up, I’d wash my hands of him and his brand.

  3. Watch Countryfile (BBC farming program) occasionally and they did a segment of his huge farming operation in the UK. And despite the huge size of his farm (economies of scale etc.), his investment in high tech farming and his ‘supposed’ good managerial skills and the farm subsidies the operation was still losing money. Part of me thinks his accountants were using the loss as a tax right off. But he was such a twat in the interview. Never bought any of his products and definitely never will after finding out more about him.

  4. Yeah, I was gonna drop €450 on an over-designed vacuum cleaner but I’m definitely not gonna do that now…

  5. I got a Samsung vacuum that looks like a red ferrari for less than €200 ten years ago. Its a beast. Meanwhile two SIL’s have spent literally thousands on Dysons that have dead recharge batteries in no time or just plain stop working. Cos whose gonna buy insurance on top of nearly a grand for a friggin hoover? Dysons are the iphones of hoovers. More hype than functionality. No problem boycotting anything so grossly over marketed.

  6. Dyson products are demonstrably inferior than their many of their competitors. There is a proportion of the population that the marketing works very well on and they love their Dysons and that’s enough to build a very successful company, I can’t but admire that success.
However I suspect Mr Dyson is a complete tosser.

  7. There products are overpriced shite anyhow. Got a hover before for my aunt (great present I know) couldn’t believe how shit and flimsy the fucking thing was and it was like 600 euro or something mad

  8. The tories don’t give a flying fuck about appeasing the DUP, they only care about themselves.

It’s just currently the case that inventing an argument with the big bad EU, whilst also doing the upmost to prevent NI performing better than GB and exposing the folly of brexit, are both things that help them appear electable to the shitheads that vote for them.

See also Rwanda. They don’t even intend to implement it. Let’s propose something so heinous that the European Court of Human Rights will be forced to intervene. That’s sure to get the gammons shouting THIS ISN’T THE BREXIT I VOTED FOR!!!

  9. I love the fact that everyone refers to Dyson’s main product by using a different brand name: “Hoover”

  10. I stopped buying Dyson years back. The hoovers are just shite. Got me one of those cordless Henry Hhovers and never looked back. Works better, no stupid filter cleaning and half the price.

    Dyson are shite.

  11. Boycott anything listed as made in the UK. It’d take a while but if the stuff sells less in shops they’ll stop ordering it.

  12. My mam owned one for a while, soem part broke and they sent her the wrong piece not once, not twice, but _three_ times! And when she decided to go for another brand which is much more powerful and easier to use, they sent her the right piece twice about a week later. So yes, let’s boycott Dyson.

  13. Dyson vacuums are utter shite. We’ve been through three of them over the years, each not lasting more than a year before having issues with the tools or the battery or the main motors.
We’re never buying one again because the price over value isn’t there.

The fact Dyson’s a contemptible prick is just gravy on top really.
