Proposed amendments to India’s tax law make it easier for foreign companies to use Indian data centers to serve their global clients, tax and tech professionals said.

The bill issued Tuesday relaxing conditions on a tax holiday for Indian data center services further advances the country’s strategy to make itself an attractive location, at a time when there has been a pushback against them in the US and elsewhere.
