I object to my taxes being spent on this nonsense.
Obviously, Putin is a maniac with Peter the Great fantasies. Russians are being jailed just for holding up a blank white placard. But that does not mean the wisest course is to fight Russia down to the last Ukrainian. He is going to die sooner or later.
It seems that we need more wisdom, and less social media kneejerk reaction.
The wisest course would be to just give away the fucking land and use diplomatic pressure. Maybe after Putin dies they would come back to Ukraine. Maybe they wouldn’t. But whatever the outcome, it is likely to be better than what they have now.

So what is this journalist suggesting…stop supporting the Ukraine?
Shall we show Zelenskiy that Alexander is just using his country as a shield to save his own arse?
He cancelled a red wall meeting for his most recent visit. As serious as the situation in Ukraine is, he did not need to make an emergency trip last week. He did it because Johnson knows all about photo ops and needed a big one; Ukraine was the perfect (and probably only) option.
How could the bill be mounting? Aren’t calls in the eurozone treated as domestics?
Johnson has moved on from hiding in fridges to hiding in Ukraine whenever things get tricky.
Sigh. A real shame because Ukraine could use every bit of weaponry we can give.
Maybe Zelensky can teach him about leadership.
Zelensky probably knows this too, unfortunately he still has to entertain Johnson for optics too.
Look – no one other than Boris Johnson could manage sending weapons to Ukraine. Its just too complicated a task for anyone else to complete.

Zelensky, Ukraine the new “fridges ” for Boris to hide in. Personally I think he should retire to that ditch he once mentioned in the 2019 general election.
