RAVENNA OH- Poland had itself a day at Windmill Lakes. The Bulldogs captured the Yank Heisler Invitational championship with a blistering team score of 287, setting a new program record for an 18-hole round. And they didn’t just sneak past the old mark. Poland shattered last year’s school record of 297 by 10 strokes.
Angelo Rinaldi was dialed in from the jump, going low with a 68 to lead the Bulldogs. Matthew Morrone and Ryan Lombardo were right behind him, each firing a 72, while Nick Dipasqua turned in a 75 to help Poland slam the door on the team title. Parker Ogden added an 85 to the Bulldog scorecard.
When the final putt dropped, Poland walked away with the hardware, four rounds of 75 or better, and a brand-new number sitting atop the school record book.
