Auckland Central Library and Academy Cinemas were evacuated this afternoon.
A threat reported to police this afternoon prompted the evacuation of an Auckland library and movie theatre.
Police were alerted to the incident about 3.55pm, with Auckland Central City Library and Academy Cinemas being cleared as a precaution.
A police spokesperson said inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
