Carrie Johnson is subject of ‘unsavoury’ political attack, claims Raab

  1. You do have to wonder was Raab some science experiment that went badly wrong, got dumped and somehow managed to crawl out of the waste pit and rise to become the shining never ending abyss of nothingness he is today.

  2. Is it coincidence that this story has broken just days after Johnson’s ethics advisor quite in exasperation? No one to investigate him at present.

If Rabb thinks Carrie should not be written about then I suggest he has a word in her ear about not getting involved in government, like campaigning for special advisors to be sacked or for plane loads of dogs to be evacuated from a war zone in front of humans who we owed a duty of care too.

However I suspect she will be Johnson’s new ethics adviser as long as there is enough money in it for them.

  3. Maybe she should find some more “savory” people to be associated with if she doesn’t like being tarred with the same brush?

  4. This is like that story from yesterday about the church

Criticising someone for doing something wrong isn’t an “attack”. If you didn’t want to be criticised, you shouldn’t have done the thing in the first place. The ruling class have all lived a life of such privilege that they think experiencing consequences for their actions is an attack, and until we change this nothing is ever going to get better in this country

  5. She’s not a non political figure like, say, Norma Major. She’s a former top Conservative Party official who has been implicated in a number of scandals involving corruption, nepotism and influence peddling. There are also strong indications that she plays an important role in policy making.
