Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Finland Serhiy Koretsky and Petteri Orpo discussed Ukraine’s air defense capabilities, cooperation in the field of drones, logistics, and food security.

“I held talks with Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo. We discussed strengthening our air defense and cooperation in the field of drones. Another area of focus is logistics and food security, which Russia is threatening with terrorist attacks on civilian shipping in the Black Sea,” Koretsky said on Telegram on Friday.

According to him, they also discussed support for the railway, which the Russians attack almost daily, and the development of the Transport Infrastructure Recovery Fund.

“We are grateful to Finland for standing by us from the very first days of this war. Special thanks go to Finland for its leadership in the Shelter Coalition. We agreed with the prime minister to further expand this important program and jointly call on other partners to join it and contribute to its development,” Koretsky said.

He also invited Mr Orpo to visit Ukraine in the near future.
