LISBON – Friday night’s truck and tractor pull at the Columbiana County Fair has been canceled due to weather and “unsafe track conditions.” The announcement came in a Facebook post from the county fair on Friday afternoon:
Organizers are still planning to host Saturday’s show and stated that they will be running all Saturday classes and Friday’s Pro Stock classes.
Any Friday night ticket holders will be able to sit on the bleacher side of the track for the Saturday show.
This comes days after the “Bulls, Broncos, and Barrels” event and “Derby Pull” was also canceled due to the “condition of the performance area” after significant rainfall. The event was not planned to be rescheduled.
Tickets for all Columbiana County Fair events are listed as nonrefundable.
“We know this is very frustrating and disappointing,” fair organizers stated in the Facebook post. “The safety of the drivers, crews, and spectators always comes first.”
