How gang warfare took over Sweden’s streets | The Spectator

  1. A Swedish gang killed two members from another Swedish gang – in Denmark. Bad choice. The ones under 18 got 16 years, the ones over 18 got life sentences.

  2. Sweden labels gangs differently than other countries. If you have 1 tattoo even if you got it with your bubblegum you are a gangmember.

  3. So no one talking about how this article actually tries to label gangster rap as the source of armed organised crime? Am I actually alome in thinking that’s ridiculous?

  4. This is going to happen and has happened in every major city. Population density, economic disparity and diversity, ethnic and cultural diversity (the leads to conflict kind not the adapt and community kind) as populations increase in a metro area eventually its rats in a bucket.

  5. Sweden has kept its clean image for far too long. It isn’t all great here as they claim it to be. The Government is HIGHLY incompetent when it comes to integration of migrants in any way among other basic things. A lot of areas are now high risk, police rarely present etc.. Really badly planned out migration policies caused a huge rise of support for the Swedish Democrats (I will not share my opinion of this party but they are Anti Islamic, Right wing, Nationalist) It is incredibly expensive to live here for even more affluent individuals. This isn’t to be blames on rappers or people that see gang related activities as a way to escape a messed up system. Mass denial of these issues also don’t help anyone, if anything it makes issues worse and fuels a lot of racism in neighbourhoods that haven’t been as affected by crime and related problems

  6. Street gangs…..in Sweden…

Are their lives so good and boring that they decide to just create problems out of thin air for themselves?

  7. I’m wondering, how is Sweden going to get rid of its gang problem? Purge them? It can’t be that the state and police have no go areas, not in a country that claims to be civilised
