Motorists in Croatia could face higher diesel prices from next Tuesday, while petrol drivers are expected to see a small reduction at the pumps.
According to unofficial information reported by RTL Danas, new fuel prices are expected to come into effect on Tuesday.
Under the current calculations, Eurosuper 95 petrol would fall by two cents to €1.60 per litre.
Diesel drivers, however, are likely to pay more. Eurodiesel is expected to increase by three cents to €1.77 per litre, while blue diesel is also forecast to rise by three cents, reaching €1.25 per litre.
The expected prices from Tuesday are:
Eurosuper 95: €1.60 per litre – down €0.02
Eurodiesel: €1.77 per litre – up €0.03
Blue diesel: €1.25 per litre – up €0.03
The figures remain provisional and are based on current market prices. They could still change depending on movements on international markets before trading closes and, importantly, whether the Croatian Government decides to intervene.
If there is no government intervention and market conditions remain unchanged, motorists can expect the new prices to take effect from Tuesday.
