First of all yes, I know I should call them for more information/help or talk with the guy who did my taxes but its Friday, I just got the letter on my postbox and I’m gonna be thinking about it with no way to actually do anything all the way to Monday so figured I’d ask around to see if its just a normal thing, I’m totally screwed or anything in between.

So, I’m an immigrant from a 3rd world country, married, living here since mid 2019 . With in IT as your usual employee at a huge company. Nothing weird there. Partner doesn’t work.
I got this letter from the finanzamt asking for some extra info regarding the 2021 tax declaration. [Here’s a link to the relevant part](https://i.imgur.com/gIeZmH4.png).
I checked and was told that since I got some extra money due to some RSU/Stocks vesting it would be that. Half the stocks were automatically sold to cover taxes and then the excess was paid out to me. So I sent the payslips for the month the cash was credited and explained why it was.

From what I understand they want me to show invoices/proof/something of why I was paid some extra money? I’m guessing to double check that the taxes paid on that were correct. How can I do that? I was thinking of sending them my employment contract with the part that mentions the stocks highlighted then a statement from the broker showing when they were vested, when sold and that half of the sell went to taxes.
Am I on the right track?. Also, my employment contract is in German of course but the broker only has English version… would that be an issue?.
