Vodafone Romania reconfirms the quality of the mobile experience offered to customers and receives, for the fifth consecutive year, the “Best in Test” certification for the best mobile network in the country from the independent benchmarking organisation umlaut. The company achieved the highest overall score, as well as the highest scores for voice and data services and for network reliability.
“This new recognition confirms the direction in which we continue to invest: a high-performing, stable mobile network, ready to support our customers’ everyday digital experiences. The fact that Vodafone Romania receives the umlaut ‘Best in Test’ certification for the fifth consecutive year reflects the consistency with which we develop our infrastructure and the quality of our services, so that people, businesses and communities can stay connected simply, quickly and securely,” said Nicolae Vîlceanu, Network Director, Vodafone Romania.
The certification is based on a performance audit conducted by umlaut between 6 and 30 May 2026, through tests carried out in cities, localities and on connecting roads across Romania, over a total route of 7,800 km, with the measurements covering approximately one quarter of Romania’s population. The umlaut methodology evaluates network quality as experienced by users, through a combination of dedicated measurements and data on real-life usage experience. The certification is available here.
