Στρέιτ γυναίκες/ομοφυλόφιλοι του sub, του Παναγιώτη είναι νηστίσιμη για να βοηθήσουμε τον άνθρωπο;
7 κιλά προβατίνα έπαιρνα με αυτά τα λεφτά, να χω να τρώω βδομάδες. Επίσης, τι φάση το vegetarian αγριογούρουνο και το ζαρκάδι;
mmmmm delicious vegetarian pig
I hope you actually got a proper tax receipt, because this is just an order ticket.
100 ευρωπουλα στο Περτουλι;
“ΖΑΡΚΑΔΙ ΚΟΚΙΝΙΣ” is zucchini+flour fried balls. A little pricey at this tavern but nevertheless a good vegetarian dish.
People are mostly joking about the prices but here goes:
Bread
Panagioti’s specialty
Little [Böreks](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B%C3%B6rek)
[Bouyiourdi](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bouyiourdi)
Grilled Mushrooms
Zucchini-balls
Aubergine in a two-handled pan
Fried Potatoes
Roe Venison with red sauce
Boar with wine sauce
White wine 0.5lt
Red wine 0.5lt
Vegetarian dishes I can distinguish, because some are named locally or as store’s specialty are:
– bougiourdi probably (4th on list)
– mashrooms on grill (5th)
– zucchini fried fritters (6th)
– eggplant saganaki (7th)
– fries (8)
2nd can be with anything, usually are with cheese and ham
8th-9th are with meat and not so easy to find as are wild boar and deer. Just in case she ate the really good dishes and not the vegetarian and got confused.
Mate, you ate deer (maybe on rock oven) and you are looking for a vegetarian recipe? Are you a bot?!
Try this OP, it’s not in your pic but it’s a delicious veggie meal:

The spices are important, cinnamon, bay leaf and allspice
Please make sure to serve it next to some feta (and maybe bread)
My condolences. This is overpriced AF! Damn!
Those prices are ridiculous! A total rip off!!!!
Do us all a favor and break up with your girlfriend. It is a national crime to come to Greece and not eat kokoretsi souvlaki, xtapodi, and many many more heavenly foods.
Here are my 2 cents
1) seasonal produce especially tomatoes hit different in south Europe.
2) try either of the eggplant dishes linked in this post as per my other comment && the one named Imam Baildi
3) good quality feta helps a lot and with the variety you can find in Greece you can hit the right flavour for each dish
Why are people saying it’s overpriced? Have you eaten at a tavern in the past 10 years? I’m not saying this is cheap. It’s what I would expect to pay.
Get a grip on reality.
So let’s take it one by one from top to bottom
1. **Bread:** No need for further comments 🙂
2. **Of Panagiotis (or Panagiotis’s):** Can’t help you here, “specialty” dishes in tavernas are usually named like that, for example Panagiotis’s Burger, or Panagiotis’s Mouzaka. Since we only see the “panagiotis’s” part on the receipt I cannot really know what exactly you got there.
3. **Bourekakia:** Bourekakia are pastries with several fillings. It can be cheese, ham, pastrami, minced meat, eggplant, you name it! Most usually in tavernas are filled with cheese ([https://www.food.com/recipe/bourekakia-greek-style-cheese-filled-diamonds-105935](https://www.food.com/recipe/bourekakia-greek-style-cheese-filled-diamonds-105935) , [https://www.allcorfu.com/in-recipes-bourekakia.html](https://www.allcorfu.com/in-recipes-bourekakia.html)).
4. **Bouyiourdi:** This is oven baked feta with tomatoes and hot peppers ([http://ginalioti.com/bouyourdi-oven-baked-feta-tomatoes-chillies-recipe/](http://ginalioti.com/bouyourdi-oven-baked-feta-tomatoes-chillies-recipe/)).
5. **Grilled Mushrooms:** Not much to comment here.
6. **Zucchini fritters (kolokythokeftedes):** from kolokythi which is the greek word for zucchini and keftedes which is the greek word for meatballs. We call all these recipies like that “Zucchini (meat)balls”, “Tomato (meat)balls”, etc but fritters is a better word for it in english. Don’t confuse them with fried zucchini, these are just zuchini slices covered in a panko like substance and fried, kolokythokeftedes are more than that ([https://akispetretzikis.com/en/recipe/1338/kolokythokeftedes](https://akispetretzikis.com/en/recipe/1338/kolokythokeftedes)).
7. **Eggplant saganaki:** This is baked eggplant with tomatoe sauce and feta cheese, we cook a lot of things in tomatoe sauce and feta cheese and we call them saganaki, shrimps saganaki, mussels saganaki, etc ([https://akispetretzikis.com/en/recipe/5222/melitzanes-saganaki](https://akispetretzikis.com/en/recipe/5222/melitzanes-saganaki)).
8. **Fried potatoes/French fries/Fries:** The good, old and trusted fries, maybe they were topped with oregano, we usually like that.
9. **Deer Casserole (it was also translated to Roe by google 🙂 ):** No point commenting further, since this is a non vegeterian dish.
10. **Wild boar in wine sauce:** ditto.
11. **White wine**
12. **Red wine**
** Edited for typos, and to change “mix” with “confuse” as per /u/TheNinjaNarwhal ‘s comments. Check his comment on saganaki which is spot on 🙂 **
You can go veganaki the best foods for vegans
[Miakouppa.com](https://Miakouppa.com) or Akis Petretzikis will have all your recipes.
This is near my hometown Trikala. Panagiotis’ tavern in Pertouli! Great game dishes.
Are you sure that you are not on a relationship with the Jaws?
Ask the waiter if it’s vegetarian then…
(FYI for translations/questions on Greek language you can also go to r/GREEK which is the dedicated sub for the Greek language )
They were 2 people and only ordered appetizers two small jars of wine and 1 main course. Way over the top !
Xaxaxaxaxaxa you got ripped off. This place is ridiculously over priced…
in Greece you have to look for the small tavernas with fair prices. They usually have the best food
Use Google translate on your phone. There is a camera option that LL translate on the fly. I ve used a few times on receipts and works very well.
