I thought this was one car ;;;))) went to find another source, came back to check the source here and was wondering why op is using data from pet food manufacturers about car ownership. Time to go to bed….

In Greece there’s probably more cats then people, the thing is that you don’t own the cats, they own you.
Dogs are way more common here than Cats tbh.

We should get rid of most of them. They have a surprisingly big impact on climate change and a terrible impact on local wildlife
And we are not even cat persons, we like dogs just as much.
Taking care of a pet is such a satisfying experience, I learned it this year since I got 3 puppies by accident (a dog gave birth in our yard). God, I was so afraid of dogs before that, but now I love them.
As a cat person I’m very saddened by these results. We need more cats.
