I see Wołoivem there, although polish alphabet doesn’t have a “v” letter but I don’t see that to be anything else (an “r” maybe?)
Do you have a sample with something else written with that handwriting?
Może Wołomin
It might not be a polish town anymore, both my grandparents were born in cities that currently are in Ukraine.
Take a look at Ukranian and Belarusian cities, places that used to be part of Poland. But honestly, I’m Polish and the wioska (country side) my entire family is from doesn’t exist anymore because everyone there was killed by the Soviets. Wish you luck.
Wołów, Dolnośląskie
I have no clue how poles in the past could come up with the most amazing handwriting only for it to be 100% unreadable.
Just a tip from a genealogical geek (a.k.a. Me): there are many very helpful and terribly well informed groups on Facebook that help you with your ancestors. I have received help from Polish, Hungarian, 3 different Austrian and 2 US groups.

If you’re interested in doing further genealogical research, I’d be happy to see if I can help. There are a lot of records still available from these areas, some are even online.

Wołowem, conjugated form of a town name. Could be Wołów.
