‘Pessimist Remainer elites’ are to blame for the current mess we are in… apparently

  1. The London Economic reports on a new “[Centre for Brexit Policy](https://centreforbrexitpolicy.org.uk/)” publication, which has recently featured in stories elsewhere:

    – Daily Mail: [*How woke Whitehall ‘blob’ is killing Brexit: ‘Defeatist’ officials are thwarting efforts to cash in on opportunities from the EU vote, report finds*](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10930483/Defeatist-officials-thwarting-efforts-cash-opportunities-Brexit-report-finds.html)
    – Sun: [*OUR EU EEYORES Pessimist Remainer elites are stopping Britain from reaping the benefits of Brexit, report reveals*](https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/18933262/defeatist-mindset-brexit-benefits/)

The proposition that this kind of “reporting” in national press is anything other than organised and harmful propaganda becomes ever more ludicrous.

The originators of the report, described by the Sun as “a think tank of politicians, academics and foreign policy experts”, include [Robert Tombs](https://www.briefingsforbritain.co.uk/author/robert-tombs/) who features prominently in the recently released email dump claimed to be from a “cabal” of Brexit extremists and propagandists.

  2. >‘Pessimist Remainer elites’

Come on guys, you’re just not believing hard enough, if we all just abandon sceptical thinking and believe then Jesus will rise again/the aliens will reveal themselves/Xenu will return.

    Cult 1.0.1.

  3. “Ian Duncan Smith slams Westminster elites”

His party is in government, has an 80 seat majority and the cabinet is comprised of leave voters. Their donors are some of the wealthiest, most powerful people in the country. They can literally do whatever they want right now in regards to Brexit. Who does he think these elites *are*?

  4. Of course it is.

“I don’t agree with this thing.”

“Well it’s not your job to agree or disagree with it, your job is to make sure this thing works.”

“Yeah, yeah, OK… (quietly to self while rubbing hands together:) Hehe, I’m going to do everything I can to make sure this thing doesn’t work >:)”
