Horrible shit alright. I cant help but think the silly bitch that hit him wouldnt have fessed up only the guys foot was still stick to her car. She probably also did the good old “had a drink to settle my nerves …after..” trick that all hit and runners do.
How in gods name do you drive off after that
She fucked up, she’d probably get less of a sentence had she killed him.
That’s horrific and life changing for that poor man. I really hope the judge doesn’t fuck about with this saying she has kids or a job or some shit.
Anyone injuring one of our Gardai in the course of their duty should feel the full weight of the law.
Edit : I see now he was off duty doesn’t change my opinion though
The fact that she drove off makes it even worse
Hopefully with modern medicine and prosthetics, etc., he’ll make as close to a full recovery as possible.
What an absolutely horrible human to have left him there like that…….
Pathetic human being to leave. She could have been the cause of his death I’d nobody called emergency services. This needs to be made an example of for drink and drug driving and distracted driving in general. Mobile phone, drink drug driving should be enforced heavily, not speeding.
