Bear sighting suspends play at womens European event in Slovakia

The Ladies Slovak Golf Open on the LET Access Series had some surprise visitors Thursday. So surprising, in fact, they cleared the golf course for ensure player safety.

Turns out some bears paid a visit to TALE Ski Golf & Hotel Resort in Brezno, Slovakia.

About 45 minutes after that announcement went out, the tour gave the all-clear and players returned to the course to resume their first rounds.

The LET Access Series is the Ladies European Tour’s development circuit.
