Luka Doncic and Jaxson Hayes will not be part of Slovenia’s roster for the upcoming late-August window of the 2027 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers. The Slovenian Basketball Federation announced a 19-man preliminary squad for the next set of games, with both players absent from the list. Slovenia will first play preparation games against Latvia and Montenegro before returning to World Cup qualifying action with a road matchup against France in Paris and a home game against Hungary in Ljubljana.
