Definitely a good idea! Though reading through the article, it’s not clear if it’s only for women. It looks like it is – which on one hand is fine, seeing as we women are generally more at risk. On the other, however, it doesn’t sit right with me if it’s not open to male victims as well.
I noticed recently that Tesco receipts have a phone number for a domestic violence helpline at the bottom of them. Bit mad but probably a clever idea for the type of situations where the only time someone doesn’t have a partner breathing down their neck is while doing the grocery shopping.
