Bus Drivers Federation president Yıldırım talked about the bus that caught fire after on the way to North Macedonia: Since fuel is cheap in Turkey, additional fuel was purchased to be put in the trunk, this exploded. This was confirmed by our colleagues in Macedonia.

1. There are a lot of shady bus companies that go between southeast Balkan countries and they often smuggle cheap products or even money across the borders.

   It’s a Balkan practice for long range bus drivers to put ‘extra’ stuff in their sleeping quarters,trunks etc to sell home.
