The last thing new mom Princess Eugenie needs right now is more stress caused by Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, a source tells Examiner, but that’s exactly what he’s heaping on her.
Earlier this month, the 36-year-old royal welcomed her third child, daughter Adelaide, with husband Jack Brooksbank, with whom she shares sons August, 5, and Ernest, 3.
“The last couple of years have been absolutely horrendous thanks to him,” the source says of the scandal surrounding her father’s close ties to Jeffrey Epstein. “And now, he’s trying to guilt trip her because she wants to have her mother [Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson] around to help her with her new baby.”
As Examiner previously reported, the former Duke of York, 66, was left fuming after Eugenie banned him and Fergie, also 66, from the hospital, though the children’s book author was recently allowed to visit her new granddaughter in Portugal.
“He’s complaining that she and her sister [Princess Beatrice] have betrayed him and are abandoning him, which is not true,” continues the source. “They are very careful not to speak badly of him and they do still maintain contact. That being said, it is the bare minimum.”

Eugenie and Beatrice, 38, are simply “much closer” to their mother, notes the source.
“They seem to feel she was led down the wrong path and they do blame their father for that,” the source says of the scrutiny surrounding Fergie’s own ties to the late convicted sex offender, 66. “He won’t simply accept this is how they feel now … and instead, he’s calling up raging at them.”
Like Andrew, the former Duchess of York denies any wrongdoing and consistently maintains her innocence, previously stating via a representative that she was “taken in” by Epstein’s “lies.”
“It’s egregious behavior and so selfish, but that’s Andrew for you,” reveals the source, adding that Eugenie’s husband Jack, 40, “is furious that his wife is being put through this during what should be the happiest time of their lives.”
