BOOOO!!!, good news isn’t wanted.
thank fuck for that
People are going to be upset when they find out how rife compensation culture is here. Insurance isn’t the lucrative game people think it is.
Is insurance really that expensive nowadays? The last 2 years my insurance has been very cheap.
I smell Shite ..
Will it improve competition the same way privatising electricity improved competition?
Negatively?
Would be nice if a co-op insurance company could be set up, now it can access the data. Or the Credit Unions get involved, God knows they’ve the cash to get involved.
Just out of interest, why can’t we use European insurers instead of being limited to just Irish based ones?
I’m well aware anecdote != data but my car insurance this year was the cheapest I’ve ever gotten. And has gone down in price over the past few years.
Will this affect health insurance or just car, house etc?
Waits for them to introduce “sharing info fees” to customers

I’ll take D) things that will never happen for ten Bob…
Why then a change of heart?
Would they ever have done this if the EU hadn’t jumped into investigate. Nice cozy cartel they had. People give out about the EU but they are good as this kinda of thing.
“Made a deal to share” not “legally forced in a binding court ruling to share”.
