CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained a QTS Data Center worker in Cedar Rapids.

Luis Adolfo Nouel Gonzalez, a Venezuelan immigrant and construction worker for a data center in Fairfax, was detained after appearing for an appointment at the Cedar Rapids ICE office. Escucha Mi Voz Iowa shared the information.

Gonzalez came to the U.S. with his family, received temporary protected status and applied for asylum. The details of Gonzalez’s arrest are not yet known.

According to an ICE website, Gonzalez is being held in Hardin County.
