  1. ~~The arrested man is a gentleman of no fixed abode.~~

[edit] As others have pointed out, this may not be accurate or indicative of anything in particular. Apologiest for my presumption. However I stand by what I say below, based on the logic of ‘there’s obviously something very wrong with him.’

If he is convicted, perhaps the issue that should be looked at is why a violent thief was out in the world, rather than already in ‘supportive accommodation’ of some sort, receiving treatment for the kind of disorders that cause someone to commit an offense like this at 2am.

There are issues with institutionalised misogyny in our culture. But it’s also the case that these horiffic attacks are committed by extreme men who are usually already on the radar of the police and social services.

People will be protected when people get the mental health and social service support that they need, coupled with the reliable convictions and appropriate incarceration of dangerous individuals.

  2. Watching people on reddit arguing different points while they believe they have the moral high ground is great

  3. Jordan mcsweeny is the opitamy of a “well ard londoner” who says axe instead of asked. I hope he gets sugar bombed in prison

  4. Hereford, a somewhat conservative city, the council has recently released a statement stating they’re investing millions into CCTV to protect women and children on the streets.

It was incredibly pathetic and cringe to see men posting statistics of “males being more victims”, whataboutism and the typical “it’s just the government trying to spy on us”.

  5. We’ll I guess that’s the end of all the murdering now. Really showed those murderers. I’m glad murder is no longer a thing now, thank you brave women for fixing it.
