On Thursday, Canada-U.S. trade minister Dominic LeBlanc returned to Washington, D.C., to meet with his American counterpart in a bid to finalize a deal and avoid 50 per cent tariffs on many Canadian goods. The meeting comes after the prime minister asked premiers to put American booze back on provincial liquor store shelves to help seal the deal. Mackenzie Gray has an update on the negotiations.
