POLK COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Over 3,000 customers are without power in western NC during severe storms on Thursday, according to Duke Energy.
A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for parts of western North Carolina.
Duke Energy reports customers in the following counties are suffering from power outages as of 11:40 p.m.:
Polk County – 1,522 customers; power estimated to be restored at 7:30 a.m.Rutherford County – 1,809 customers; power estimated to be restored at 7:15 a.m.
