The free interracial passes is the biggest no brainer imaginable. Just give one to every 18 yr old as a birthday gift.
I see our merger with Romania has went well.
Kinda hoping for a better connection between the Lowlands and Scandinavia. To have to travel through Frankfurt and Berlin is such a roundabout route.
The Social Democrats in Lithuania are notorious for infiltrating most of positions in the Lithuanian Railways and closing train routes and not really trying to improve them.
Night trains are a cool idea but this is a lot of advertisement-speak. If you can’t sleep in a normal train, plane or bus, you won’t sleep in a train constantly rattling and bumping. Next to that I advise everyone to inform themselves on the environmental consequences of building train infrastructure. The carbon output is high, surface sealing is a factor and over these vast distances natural habitats are lost or restricted. Trains are better than roads for sure but the impact of building and sustaining the infrastructure is sadly almost always overlooked.
I’m hoping for these trains to be able to carry bikes. Nigh jet currently only offers like one or two connections where bikes are allowed
