Airlines ‘to announce new wave of cancellations next week’ as holidaymakers face more disruption

  1. I generally only fly in school term times and I try to fly out as silly o’clock in the morning.

Even without these restrictions flights in the holidays and in the middle of the day can be a nightmare.

  2. Gosh. Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea for them to lay off all those staff instead of furloughing them, resulting in staff shortages and a loss in profits. Whoops.

  3. Whatever happened to Flygskam? Seems very 2019 now, don’t see much mention of it at all now and everyone seems to want to fly again.

  4. They could pay staff more and offer better working conditions. It is the last thing they will do as their current plan is “We’ve tried nothing and we’re all out of ideas!” The strikes in other industries should be an eye opener as to why they are struggling to hire new employees. This will only go on as the airlines are left in the past with respect to how they view employees.
