Hey – long time lurker here (always translating – sorry don’t speak Estonian). I want to move this boulder to the side so it doesn’t block the way for the visually impaired. Would anyone like to help – and does anyone have ratchet straps that I could borrow?
PS: Also of course please anybody report this if you know how/where to get the professionals to take care of it.
Update: Have messaged PohjaTallinnEng, no response yet – still looking to unofficially move the boulder asap
Here is the link to send them a message: https://www.facebook.com/PohjaTallinnEng/
Boulder located next to the northbound Angerja tram stop.
Update 2: PohjaTallinn responded *”thanks for the information”* like I just gave the a cute tourist tip … looks like it is up to us to fix
I think it is a disgrace what this government is doing. Allowing so many illegal boulders and rocks to cross borders and set up camp in our cities without paying any taxes? I swear I see them everywhere nowadays – last time I was walking with my partnerin Lahemaa when BAM – massive boulder just staring my gf like it was a piece of meat. Like wtf are you even doing in the middle of nowhere?! I’ve also noticed many by the coast lately, probably waiting to be trafficked to Finland. I say let them swim across, we don’t need them here.
Hey, I messaged the Estonian fb page for the Põhja-Tallinn Linnaosavalitsus. This is a mahor accessibility issue and should NEVER have happened. I hope other commenters here also sent messages as that would help draw more attention to this problem and possibly make sure they fix it faster.
lvpost@tallinnlv.ee usually works because they’ll forward it to the relevant department.
tta@tallinnlv.ee for city infrastructure concerns. roads, sidewalks, traffic light solutions, etc.

kommunaal@tallinnlv.ee for street cleaning concerns
korrapidaja@tallinnlv.ee for siccing mupo onto people parking on sidewalks or when it’s not safe to walk due to ice, icicles on roofs, etc.
Something like this.
