Lawyers from BRICS Plus nations gathered in New Delhi for the 11th BRICS Plus Lawyers Forum to discuss trade, AI, economy, and legal cooperation. Speaking to India Today, Attorney General for India R Venkataramani highlighted the need to dissolve mental barriers and borders amidst current global geopolitical challenges. He stressed that geopolitical situations should not stop engagement and cited the United Nations as a historical example of cooperation born from crisis. Commenting on the Chief Justice of India’s concept of ‘Nyaya Setu’ for exchanging ideas and judgments, the Attorney General noted that India’s judicial craftsmanship and technology-driven access to justice can be replicated globally. He advocated for building multiple equal centers of international legal cooperation.
