Anyone else get their flight cancelled today? Nightmare
I’m flying to Berlin on Saturday morning with aer lingus. Fingers crossed as I we are going for a concert
It’s such a shit show.
People in this country complied so incredibly with some of the harshest covid measures in Europe, pay enormous taxes and live in one of the most expensive places in the world. And yet we can’t even relax to enjoy our well deserved vacation time because the airport is a shambles
Yes I know UK and Amsterdam are struggling too but everywhere else seems to be running smoothly
Our airport is privately run but a joke, the govt should get their fingers out and impose measures. Our national airline is cancelling dozens of flights a day because they’re understaffed it’s a disgrace

People are blaming the airport’s and airlines. But the fact that airline staff are getting sick suggests that it’s idiots travelling with covid that are making them sick.
Personally I know of 3 families that have traveled to the continent in recent weeks even though members of their household were isolating with covid.
I’m convinced that one of these families infected me on their way to the ferry. Their answer to their sons infection, pack up the campervan and head for Disney, not a preplanned trip but booked at short notice. I lost 10 days off work as a result, I wonder how many others they infected.
Why is it that some people can’t practice a bit of personal responsibility, why do they have to wait for the government to impose travel restrictions.
If airline staff are getting sick, blame the passengers that spread the virus to them last week.
If I would go to Coldplay please cancel my flights please . No in going to see iron maiden  in one of the best concerts venue’s there is the waldbuhne
