‘Barrel bomb mufti’ sentenced to life in Syria | Bashar al-Assad

Ahmad Hassoun, a top religious official under Bashar al-Assad former regime in Syria, has been sentenced to life in prison. Known as the ‘barrel bomb mufti’, Hassoun was found guilty of committing war crimes during the country’s nearly 14-year civil war.
