The finals, held on August 21 at SKY31 Convention in Lotte World Tower, Jamsil, Seoul, featured 12 teams that advanced from the preliminary round competing to demonstrate offensive and defensive capabilities utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology in a virtual cyber battlefield.

The competition was held in a virtual cyber battlefield environment based on a cloud infrastructure. At the event, Japanese cybersecurity firm GMO CYBER SECURITY by IERAE conducted a drone hacking demonstration. White hat hackers from IERAE showcased cyber threats that unmanned systems can face by hacking into drones.

A representative from LIG D&A stated, “This DAH Hackathon served as an opportunity to verify new technological applications in the defense AI field and for AI talent to demonstrate their abilities.
