   Maar best wel verontrustend dat het verdrievoudigd is op minder dan een week.

3. Corona moet gemuteerd zijn dat het opeens toch bij kinderen kan voorkomen /s

4. Als je de huidige besmettingen per dag extrapoleert naar totaal (dus ook de niet ‘ontdekte’), dan kom je al snel tot ongeveer 100,000 per dag, of 1% van de bevolking.

   Dan valt t nog mee eigenlijk, dat aantal gesloten scholen met 1,7% van totaal.

5. Nu nog mijn school! Vervroegde kerstvakantie!

6. A lot of schools have also decided already to close next week, as an afkoelingsweek to safeguard the exams. They’re afraid that a lot of students would get infected over the next 10 days or so and would have to miss their exam period entirely. There’s also a lot of covid positive teachers causing a lot of missed classes. Most of those are still able to teach from home. At least three schools in our scholengemeenschap are doing this.

9. This is so utterly fucked.

   Someone calculated that in 2020 teachers on average had to work 3 days per week. All the other days they had time off (weekend) or school was closed and they could teach from home.

   Teaching from home for a teacher is literally 2 hours work per day for some, it’s ridiculous how much free time teachers had.

11. And yet somehow the new measures won’t be focussed on schools, eventhough it’s clear by now that’s the engine of the 4th wave.

15. Nice but it is kinda concerning that it went up that much on a weeks time

16. Scholen hebben de optie om afstandsonderwijs te organiseren in worst case scenario.. crèches en kinderopvang is nog nooit collectief gesloten geweest terwijl deze al jaren zwaar onderbemand zijn en het virus hier ook hevig zijn werk doet.
