  1. Was this website ever found though? There was an article before talking about it but that didn’t mention the website, and I don’t think anyone ever found the website?

  2. I’ve no doubt these ladies’ employers will oblige the Minister, they definitely won’t just say they’re actually Russian, or Belarusian, or Moldovan – everything will be above board here.

  3. You are going to push prostitution further underground and make women more unsafe

    Another day, another brain fart

  4. That’s it lads, she’s ended the human trafficking trade from Ukraine into Ireland, why did no one ever think of this before?

  5. The government don’t want to believe that some of the women who arrived over are on the game and now they have free housing to ply their trade and social welfare to as well.

  6. Exploitation !

    For money !

    Isn’t this a bit fucked up ?

Imagine all the trafficking going on, mostly by those with money, it’s not great lads if you are doing it you’re a bad fucking person.

  7. This is the exact same with housing, where something exists for years and is ignored and then because some Ukrainians come over it’s abhorrent and must be addressed.

Fuck off with the virtue signalling.

  8. Empty soundbites from someone going for the leadership of FG. Someone who inherited a seat and has done little to nothing in the role.

You cant shut down the internet, close one site they’ll appear elsewhere so this is meaningless.

Also why only ask for this to be done now? Theres surely many vulnerable women from multiple countries on these sites, but hey, Ukraine is in the news now so lets say Ukraine.

Then there’s the moral question is allowing these a necessary evil to provide direct access to ‘punters’ and get around pimps but that’s a whole different conversation.

But no, lets milk the war in Ukraine for likes and profile like turning up at Dublin airport for a photo op with people who have just had their lives destroyed before housing them in a glamping site or packing a family of 4 into a hotel room for possibly years.

  9. No minister should be able to do this, especially not one trying to implement a Boris border.

Using Ukraine as an excuse to empower themselves, there is no low too low for FFG.

This all seems a bit like Frances Fitzgerald’s endangerment of sex workers to facility Garda privacy to avail of them.

  10. Legalise it and regulate it.

I dont like that it happens, but the alternative to legalisation and regulation is keeping it illegal which means it’ll stay in the shadows and the participants will have no legal recourse.

Or you could properly police it.
