Watching too much American Kardashian shite on the tele is what it is.
Mid Atlantic accent. Curated in Dublin 4 schools through elocution lessons in order to produce “talent” for RTE.
Very obviously from the Borough of Dun Laoghaire and Rathdown by how he pronounced the t in court. That’s an inbred thing, you grow up hearing it.
Trying to put a radio accent on, to flatten out the normal speaking voice. If he slowed down and perhaps deepened his voice a little it wouldn’t sound so odd.
It’s very much a media voice, like the posh voice your Ma used to put on when she answered the phone back in the day

That’s a typical south side accent. Sad thing is these fools think they sound Uber sophisticated.
It’s a mix between south dub and American. Definitely not standard south Dublin
