MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A man was arrested and charged after a deadly stabbing  overnight in Downtown Memphis.

49-year-old Aaron Collins was charged with second-degree murder and tampering with evidence. 

It happened around 11:00 Monday night in front of the Federal Reserve Bank building at Front St. and Exchange Ave.

Police reported that the incident stemmed from a verbal altercation that escalated.
