Revolut is rolling out a euro-backed stablecoin less than a year after it received crypto asset approval in the EU, kicking off a multi-currency plan as banks across the globe race to build their digital asset offerings.

Europe’s largest neobank began the phased rollout of EURR on Wednesday, with the stablecoin first available to a select group of customers in Denmark, Poland and Portugal.
