Company will equip over 10,000 AI-certified specialists with Gemini Enterprise capabilities and launch a framework to embed agentic AI into enterprise workflows.
Wipro has expanded its partnership with Google Cloud as it scales enterprise AI delivery capabilities, including the creation of a dedicated team of over 1,500 Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) and a broader programme to equip over 10,000 AI-certified specialists with Gemini Enterprise capabilities.
The aim is to help enterprises operationalise agentic AI and move large-scale AI initiatives into production environments.
The expanded partnership also includes the launch of Wipro’s LIFT framework to help organisations accelerate AI transformation and embed AI into business operations. According to the company, the framework combines Gemini Enterprise with Wipro’s internal AI platforms and delivery ecosystem to support enterprise-wide adoption of agentic AI.
A key element of the announcement is Wipro’s investment in a dedicated AI engineering capability.
The team of 1,500 certified FDEs will combine Google Cloud expertise with Wipro’s consulting, engineering and transformation capabilities. This will help customers move AI initiatives from pilots and experimentation into enterprise-wide deployment.
In parallel, Wipro is expanding the internal deployment of Gemini Enterprise across its organisation and plans to equip over 10,000 AI-certified specialists with advanced AI capabilities to improve productivity, streamline operations and support decision-making.
Wipro managing partner and global head of technology Services, Kanwar Singh, said AI is becoming central to the company’s operating model and client transformation programmes.

New framework targets agentic AI adoption
As part of the expanded alliance, Wipro has launched the Launch-Ignite-Flywheel-Transform (LIFT) framework.
The framework is designed to help organisations operationalise agentic AI at scale by integrating Gemini Enterprise with Wipro’s AI-powered delivery platforms, WINGS and WEGA.
According to the company, the approach enables enterprises to move beyond basic task automation and embed autonomous AI agents directly into multi-step business processes and workflows.
The framework sits within Wipro Intelligence, the company’s broader suite of AI platforms, solutions and transformation offerings.
Wipro said the objective is to create an ecosystem where AI can participate in decision-making and workflow execution rather than function only as a productivity layer.
The company also disclosed that it has deployed Gemini Enterprise as its central agentic orchestration platform through its internal “Operate Better with AI” strategy and Client Zero model.
According to Wipro, Gemini’s reasoning and long-context capabilities are already being used to build autonomous AI agents across functions including compliance, HR and sales intelligence.
The company said these deployments are helping shift AI from standalone automation projects into what it describes as an enterprise-wide decision intelligence layer.
Google Cloud president, global partner ecosystem, Kevin Ichhpurani said the partnership is aimed at helping enterprises convert AI investments into measurable business outcomes.

Beyond business operations, Wipro is also integrating AI into software development processes.
The company said it has incorporated Antigravity Command Line Interface into its engineering ecosystem, enabling agentic workflows that support planning, coding, testing and application modernisation.
According to Wipro, the deployment has delivered measurable improvements in software development productivity while reducing post-production defects.
