PM Modi’s 4-Day Central Asia Visit: Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan & SCO Summit | India’s Diplomatic Push

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has embarked on a four-day visit to Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic from August 29 to September 1, 2026.
During his visit to Tashkent, PM Modi will hold delegation-level talks with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The discussions will focus on strengthening India-Uzbekistan cooperation in trade and investment, defence, energy, education, digital connectivity and people-to-people ties.
PM Modi will then travel to Bishkek to attend the 26th SCO Summit and engage with leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. He is also scheduled to meet Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov.
