22.may – visu neparasto un kalendāros ierakstīto vārda diena
Every unique and calendar unwritten name day.
maija un paija was great latvian fantasy fairy tale film
22nd of May.
Firstly – 22nd of May is an official date when “Name day” is celebrated by anyone who’s name is not in the official calendar. On top of this – many people are choosing to actually celebrate their Name day in a same date when similar names are celebrated (for example – “Karla” (girl’s name that’s not in the calendar) is often celebrating on the same day as “Karlīna” (a name that is on the calendar), because it’s easier for friends to remember.
Secondly – why are you keep making these strange topics one after another, if answer can obviously be Googled in a few seconds instead?
Either May 22 or according to extended calendar for name days (paplašinātais vārda dienu kalendārs).
Like everyone else said – if it’s not in the almanac, then celebrate on May 22.
FYI, my friend was the first of his name in Latvia. His grandmother petitioned for that name to be added to the calendar and it was.
