Yeah I don’t support propaganda by a fake animal welfare company.
They kill over 90% of the animals they “rescue” compared to shelters and legit animal welfare groups that euthanize around 50 percent of animals they rescue or take into care.
Fuck Peta they cause more suffering than real animal welfare shelters.
“Celebrities”
PETA are the Mother Theresa of animal rights
Can we get a video of real celebrities reacting to how full of bullshit PETA are?
Peta exploits animal suffering to sell sweet sweet merchandise and nothing else
Anyone who associates themselves with PETA should be blacklisted from society
Ah jeysas what pansies. The reality is those celebrities have likely used make up, medication etc that would have been tested on animals before human consumption, unfortunately its a necessary evil.
Do they count as celebrities?
Linda Martin’s version of Get Lucky…
The sad truth is we need this research to find cures for our sick.
Are these real celebrities or RTE celebrities? Or, God forbid, Instagram celebrities?
I’m working on a medical device at the moment so I have been reading up on FDA and CE approval for medical therapies and the costs associated.
Speaking very generally (and just discussing medical devices for the moment), a series of animal model studies cost anywhere from €10 million to €50 million; first in human studies cost €100 million to €200 million minimum.
I understand the objection to animal testing, and I absolutely think we should do our best to reduce cruelty and ensure everything is humane. But how will we get any life saving treatments to the public if the testing costs balloon by as much as a factor of 20? And first in human studies normally come well after proof of concept and safety studies are competed in animals so the costs of those studies would likely be much higher because you can’t risk a human life the way you can with an animal that is going to euthanised at the end of the trial anyway.
I might be very wrong here but I think I remember reading last year that PETA used over 90% of their funding on ad campaigns and celebrity endorsement and less than 5% on animal rescue and care. And they euthanise something like 95% of the animals they supposedly rescue because it’s too expensive to look after them.
What does celebrity even mean anymore?
More vegan cult initiation propaganda
Are all these people vegetarian? If not, there’s no need for the crocodile tears. Bunch of hypocrites
