A 16-year-old boy is at risk of dying after falling down a flight of stairs in St Julian’s early this morning.
Police were called to Triq San Ġorġ at around 4am after being informed that assistance was required.
Officers arriving at the scene established that the teenager had fallen down the stairs.
He was assisted by a medical team before being taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where he was later certified as having suffered serious injuries.
Police investigations into the incident remain ongoing.
